The unimaginable speed of technology and platform often leaves the IT professional in a most indecisive situation.

Any IT graduate knows very well that he needs to update himself very frequently to keep up with the pace of changes, but the problem becomes the versatility.

An Oracle guy can hardly forecast, which one between the PHP and .NET will rule the universe in the long run. Perhaps even the industry experts can hardly confirm about the changes in next 2 years. The problem is known, but where lies the solution? Truly speaking there is no short cut solution to such a common problem. Perhaps the only way is to form a solid foundation and then keep on building high rise on it.

It’s no doubt that flow chart and other programming logic technique formulates a solid foundation for the career in information technology.

Your knowledge of C or COBOL or Fortan or Pascal in your engineering curriculum can become triumphant for you in due course of time. The jet speed of changes and moreover upcoming technologies hardly give you any scope to go deep into the language or database. You need to manage by your inherited knowledge, earned during your fundamental studies.

A good C++ programmer can find the Java Script quiet easy and similarly an Oracle Database Administrator will never find any difficulty in managing a MySQL or SQL Server database.

Remember, only a solid foundation can keep you rocking always!
